Recognising that standard hotel rooms did not meet the needs of growing numbers of business and leisure travellers, Irish owned Staycity Group was founded in Dublin in 2004 by CEO Tom Walsh and is now one of Europe’s leading aparthotel operators.
At Staycity Group, we have become one of Europe’s leading aparthotel operators, with serviced apartments in the popular cities of Birmingham, Dublin, Edinburgh, Liverpool, London, Lyon, Manchester, Marseille, Paris and York; and our list of cities is growing.
In 2018, we were awarded “Best Operator” at the prestigious “Serviced Apartment Awards”, an award ceremony which also saw our CEO, Tom Walsh, nominated in the “Industry Inspiration” category.
We have announced the addition of numerous new properties to our estate over the next two years in Disneyland Paris, Venice and Berlin. As well as these, we have four new openings coming in Dublin – Chancery Lane, Mark Street, Little Mary Street and Moss Street, and a new addition to our Manchester estate in St Peter’s Square. We have even more announcements to come!
By 2023 we aim to make the Staycity Group Europe’s largest, mid-market, pan-European city aparthotels operator, and we need great people to get us there and to bring experience, enthusiasm and more, in helping us to achieve our goals, and make Staycity the first thought for accommodation in the minds of the travelling public.
