However, with a bit of planning, this excitement is easily channelled. And to help you, we’ve put together this parents’ guide to Parc Disneyland® Paris, which covers all the essential tips and tricks for you to fill your family holiday with Disney magic.

When should we go?
Parc Disneyland® Paris is worth visiting any time of the year. Bear in mind though, that it’s especially busy during French national holidays. So, it might be a good idea to avoid these. FYI: Queuing will be inevitable at times at such a popular destination. So, come armed with distractions for kids to get you through it. If this means more screen-time than usual, so be it. Top tip: We strongly advise you get a Disney Premier Access pass, which reduces your waiting times on some of the most popular attractions. You can find all the information on these here.
How long should we go for?
Trying to squeeze everything in to one day will end in tears. We recommend a minimum of two days to take it all in at an enjoyable pace. Three days is the sweet spot.
Where should we stay?
Staying nearby is essential. Especially where little ones are involved. That way, you can easily nip back to your accommodation for the likes of nap times and lunch, or if one or all of you simply needs a bit of time out. Our Staycity aparthotel near Disneyland® Paris is just a 10-minute drive from the park, and we offer a free shuttle bus there and back.
What should we pack?
Remember this is Parc Disneyland® Paris, not Florida. Paris can be cold, wet and changeable up to and even beyond May. So, pack accordingly. Be sure to bring comfortable clothing and footwear too, as you’ll be doing lots of walking. Top tip: if your kids have any Disney costumes, bring them. Because kids in Disney costumes get more attention from the various characters and performers.
Is there an app?
Yes. The official Parc Disneyland® Paris app is indispensable, giving the likes of real-time information on queuing times, your location relative to nearby attractions, shops and restaurants, and daily schedules for parades and entertainment. Download it for free on the App Store or Google Play.
How should we approach our time there?
Preparation is key to Parc Disneyland® Paris. So, ahead of your trip, decide what you want to experience and draw up a plan of action. Without this, the dizzying array of choice at Parc Disneyland® Paris could see you overwhelmed. Also, be sure to stay informed. Occasionally there’ll be refurbishments underway, so keep abreast of developments to ensure the attractions on your hitlist are open. Equally, there are special and seasonal events opening and closing all the time. Following the official Parc Disneyland® Paris social media accounts here, here and here, and checking the website regularly will keep you in the loop of what’s on and what’s not.Anything else we should know?
Yes! A little common sense goes a long way at Parc Disneyland® Paris. For example, don’t eat at the most popular restaurant at a peak time. There’s also the option of eating on your own terms by packing a lunch, which is easier on the pockets too. Also, arrive to the resort early, before the crowds. And so on. It’s not rocket science!
