Ahead of your arrival, we’d like to provide you with some essential information and reassurance that with us, you’ll enjoy the safest of stays in a new era of travel.

Our Safeguarding Promise

The safety of our team and guests is our top priority. So, we’re monitoring COVID-19 closely, heeding advice from the WHO and local authorities, and implementing enhanced procedures to ensure the utmost safety. There are sanitization stations for safe entry and exit to and from the building, protective screens and markings indicating social distancing at reception, and where possible a one-way system is in operation. We’re moving to a cashless business, so card payments are encouraged, as are guest enquiries by email or phone to further reduce close physical contact.

While our friendly team is still in place, they have undertaken specific third-party COVID-19 training, receive continuous safety training and temperature checks at the start of each shift, and observe strict social distancing, hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette. Full PPE is available to them and compulsory for our housekeeping teams whilst servicing rooms. Staff areas are subject to the same social distancing and cleanliness standards as the front end of the business, and there is an isolation room set aside should any team member feel unwell. While we offer 24-hour reception, if the area is temporarily unmanned and you need assistance, call the number provided to speak to our team. Our full cleaning procedures are outlined below in our Housekeeping section. CCTV and other security measures are in place to ensure your safety.

Check-in and Check-out

Check-in is from 3pm, and check-out is by 11am. For early arrivals we will attempt to facilitate early check-in. Alternatively, we will store luggage until the apartment is ready. Late check-outs are subject to availability and charged at €10 per hour.  However, members of our Stay Sweet loyalty club get priority early check-in and complimentary late check-out until 1pm (subject to availability). Please note Express Checkout is now available in all properties, further reducing close physical contact. Simply drop your key in the box on departure.

Eating and Drinking

Due to COVID-19, our breakfast buffets are no longer served, all restaurant seating areas are closed, and all food and drink items are takeaway only. Grab-and-go breakfast packages are available, as well as take-out items to enjoy in your apartment. Order with reception via email, phone or WhatsApp, and a time will be allocated for payment and collection at reception. Please don’t order directly at or wait around reception. Don’t forget our fully equipped kitchens complete with ovens and combi-microwaves allow you to cook from scratch or heat up takeaway food. You can also order in from the likes of Deliveroo, but you’ll need to collect the delivery from outside the building when it arrives. Tea bags, coffee, milk, salt, pepper and sugar sachets are provided in your apartment. Simply ask reception if they need replenishing.

Parking

We don’t have on-site parking. However, there is an APCOA car park approximately 100m from our aparthotel. The charge is €10 per day. Bookings cannot be made online. For further information, see apcoa.it

Housekeeping

We’ve increased how often we clean, focusing on hi-touch areas such as handles, window latches, toilet flush, electrical sockets etc. We use Suma Bac D10 cleaning agent, which is proven effective against coronavirus, and a very effective electrostatic cleaning system in public areas and when required in our rooms. Reception and other public areas are regularly sanitized throughout the day and thoroughly cleaned at least twice a day. All areas and features of your apartment are deep cleaned and sanitized prior to your arrival. A ‘Just Sanitized’ tag is placed on certain items after they’ve been disinfected, e.g. TV remote control, iron and hairdryer. Your apartment is then sealed until entry. A door seal indicates when cleaning took place and guarantees no entry since. Furthermore, no staff access is required during your stay.


Dishwashers in your apartment have wash cycles of up to 70 degrees to ensure kitchenware is fully sanitized. Towels and bed linen are washed on cycles of 60 degrees + to ensure effective sanitization. Throws and scatter cushions have been removed.


There is no scheduled clean of your apartment for stays of six nights or less. Additional towel packs are available on request. For stays of seven nights or more, our team will deliver fresh bed linen, towels and cleaning supplies to your door before 12pm on day seven. This avoids entry to your apartment to maintain social distancing guidelines. All linen packs will be packed and delivered by our team wearing PPE. All used laundry should be placed back in the linen pack and left outside your door before 12pm the next day for collection.


Washing up liquid, a sponge, disposable cloth, tea towel/s and dustpan and brush, bin bags, and bathroom bag sacks are provided in your apartment. Mops and floor brushes (if not already provided in your apartment) are available upon request. If your stay is seven nights or more, these will be replenished and included in your cleaning pack on day seven.
Should you need to dispose of your rubbish before departure, leave it outside your door between 9am-12pm for safe collection. Please ensure the rubbish is double-bagged and there are no leaks to avoid spillages on the corridor floor.


Hand and body soap are provided in wall-mounted dispensers. Should these need replenishing please let our reception team know. We can deliver a pack with instructions to avoid entering your apartment. Toilet rolls are also provided and replenished during stays of seven nights or more. If you require additional toilet rolls, just ask reception.
