St Stephen’s Green is a beautiful city centre park in Dublin, first opened in 1880 by Lord Ardilaun for locals to enjoy. It’s an impressive 22-acre park, that’s been kept in line with its original Victorian style layout, with trees around the perimeter, shrubberies and Victorian bedding.
It has more than 3.5km of pathways, which are easily accessible for all. It has a waterfall feature, an ornamental lake which is home to waterfowl, and multiple sculptures around the Green. If you’re taking the children there’s a great children’s playground where they can let off some steam while you relax and take in the view.
There are often concerts performed in the park in the summer months, so be sure to check out what’s on before you visit!
