Dublin-based Staycity Aparthotels has announced that Wilde Aparthotels London The Strand, the first of its premium brand properties, will open on 12 March 2018.
The 106-room building in a premium location on London’s Strand, close to the popular tourist attraction of Covent Garden, will offer a range of studios, superior studios and double rooms over eight floors including three sky level studios. Prices will start from £160 per room per night.
Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity offers guests the latest intelligent in-room technology including a 43” flat screen smart TV and touch control panels for lighting, air conditioning, towel rails and blinds. Luxury features include a super-comfy XL-sized bed, rainfall shower and high quality bed linen complemented by a collection of Irish-inspired crafted accessories and soft furnishings.
The look is completed with solid oak flooring and a finely detailed piece of handcrafted joinery curated with local curiosities whilst also housing the kitchen and bathroom.

With its fantastic central location – close to London’s theatreland and West End – as well the City and conference venues, Wilde will be popular with both business guests and tourists,” commented Jason Delany, Staycity’s director of brand, product & marketing.
The studio and superior studios have fully equipped kitchenettes with a Nespresso machine for quality coffee. All rooms are fitted with a Handy guest smartphone device offering free local and international phone calls to selected destinations.
Staycity intends to roll out the Wilde brand across gateway city centre locations throughout Europe. The Strand will be followed by a second on Edinburgh’s historic King’s Stables Road, scheduled to open at the end of 2019. Further properties will follow in Manchester and Berlin.
Earlier this year Staycity announced the addition of six new properties to its estate in 2019 including Disneyland Paris (284 apartments), Venice (175), Berlin (48), two in Dublin – Chancery Lane (50 apartments) and Mark Street (142) and Manchester’s St Peter’s Square, due to open in 2020.
