Staycity was founded in Dublin in 2004 to provide the travelling public with a mid-market, cost-effective and user-friendly alternative to hotels.
Staycity now operates some 1,400 apartments across several key UK & European cities including Birmingham, Dublin, Edinburgh, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Paris and York. The company is on target to expand to 15,000 apartments by 2021 with another premises due to open later this year in Marseille and further openings during 2017 in London, Lyon, Liverpool and Manchester.
By offering hotel-standard 24 hour receptions and with all apartments equipped with self-catering facilities as well as the benefits of free Wifi, we aim to differentiate ourselves from the myriad of smaller operators around Europe.
Staycity provides the ideal home away from home for both business and leisure travellers and are ideal in both short and long term.
In 2015 Staycity was inducted into the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame, having won a Certificate of Excellence award for five consecutive years. Staycity also won the Association of Serviced Apartments Providers “Industry Breakthrough” Award in December 2015.
In February and March 2016 we opened two brand new properties in Birmingham and in Heathrow. Soon you will be able to stay with us in new properties in Lyon (France), and York (UK).
